TMB was founded in Codogno (Lodi) in 1980 as a manufacturer of dry/wet vacuum cleaners and carpet cleaners. The manufacturing site was then relocated to Guardamiglio, also in the province of Lodi. Giancarlo Ruffo, a successful entrepreneur and the charismatic owner of Comac, became interested in the company and acquired it in September 2000. In February 2001, his son Giampaolo was appointed to the position of TMB’s General Manager. His task was that of setting clear goals for the company, redefining its mission, strengthening its competitive advantage and widening its product offering. This strategic move produced the desired results: TMB brand became gradually established both on the Italian and global markets thanks to the safety, quality and reliability of the company’s products. End users are very impressed with its comprehensive range of extractors, dry/wet vacuum cleaners and carpet cleaners: powerful yet compact, they are designed to solve any cleaning issue. They are reliable, light, fully accessorised and noiseless. The success of “Piccolo”, a versatile vacuum cleaner that is virtually noiseless and ideally suited for cleaning operations in hotels, hospitals and office buildings, is particularly encouraging.
